What to expect from your hardwood floor installation

Before we install a single plank, we deliver the wood to your home a few days early so it can acclimate to your indoor temperature and humidity. This step prevents warping and gaps after installation. Once we begin, we prepare the subfloor — leveling it, securing any loose spots, and applying vapor barriers where needed. Only then do we start the installation itself, followed by sanding, staining if requested, and applying finish coats.
